Things are not always straight forward in society. You would think that it shouldn't make any difference who wears pink, that it's just the same for us all. Yet the reality in the western world is different. Many people associate this colour with negative ideas and feel that they are making the wrong kind of statement if they wear it. Funny how it was only a hundred years ago when pink was officially the colour for boys because it was a strong colour and blue was the more delicate colour for women.
Well as a woman I enjoy wearing both colours, but the rest of my family, being men and boys, keep away from pink and prefer to wear only colours that portray no confusion about who they are. What we wear makes a statement about us. I guess it is more of a sensitive subject for men than women. Here is a case where men do have some restriction that women don't have, or do they?
